Interface Design Courses at KCC New Media Arts

Typical Fall Courses:

Motion Graphic Design introduces 2D animation using Adobe Flash to add the element of time to basic graphic design principles.

Interface Programming 2 introduces Flash's programming language ActionScript via projects that combine interactivity and animation.

Interface Design 2 covers the full design process of planning, designing, and building a standards compliant web site using HTML and CSS.

Typical Spring Courses:

Digital Multimedia provides studio experience in multimedia concepts and techniques through the creation of time-based works of art.

Interface Programming 1 provides a foundation of skills and principles necessary for students to create web standard compliant web sites using HTML, CSS, and Javascript.

Interface Design Studio provides studio experience for students to work on large-scale projects by going in depth into the full design process.

Typical Fall & Spring Courses:

NMA Internship provides supervised industry work experience with mentorship by a professional in the field.
